A student may be awarded only one transfer degree (AS or AA) per semester.
To earn a second transfer degree (either an AA or AS) from Jefferson State Community College, Complete an additional 15-16 semester hours (25% or more) beyond the requirements of the first associate degree, with a grade of “C” or higher in all courses.
Note: While only one AA degree will be awarded. A student may earn an additional AS degree by adhering to this policy.
The student must also meet the following requirements:
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
- Complete at least 25% of all coursework at Jefferson State.
- Fulfill all other graduation requirements set by the College.
