This course is a continuation of OAD 215. It is designed to promote an advanced understanding of the structure, analysis, and management of medical records through classroom instruction. Emphasis is on filing and managing medical records, coding of diseases, operations and procedures; and the legal aspects of medical records. Upon completion, the student should be able to efficiently maintain medical records.
